This is not a work by António Cordeiro. He was the adapter and translator of the book's texts, and devoted much of his time to this work from 2018 until 23 September 2025, the date of its launch in Portugal, in the presence of the Foundation for Inner Peace, the organisation responsible for all official editions of A Course in Miracles.
The book
The integrated edition brings together in a single volume the Preface, the Text, the Workbook, the Manual for Teachers, the Clarification of Terms and the Supplements. It is the original material, without commentary.
It is a demanding book and it isn't read in one go. The Workbook proposes one lesson a day for a year, and that is where most people discover this isn't reading, it's practice.
Where to begin
A book is usually read from the beginning. This one brings together several «books», and where you start, and in what order you read them, depends on what you feel. It runs to 1,450 pages, so you will have plenty of places to choose from. The language is what is usually called non-dualist metaphysics and it is not always easy to read, with many details that are deeply interconnected and wholly coherent across the entire work.
If you find it difficult, I am here to help. I myself still have my difficulties at times, with reading, with interpretation and, above all, with practice. It is usually a long path, but a deeply rewarding one!
